Conference: Sci-Energy Nexus — Renewables for Research Frontiers
The journal is pleased to announce a Special Issue featuring selected papers from the international conference “Sci-Energy Nexus: Renewables for Research Frontiers” (The Interconnection Between Science and Energy: Renewable Energy Sources for Research Horizons), organized by the University of Southern Queensland.
This conference brings together researchers, engineers, and innovators to explore how fundamental sciences and engineering can jointly accelerate the global transition toward clean, sustainable, and resilient energy systems. It is guided by the University’s strategic commitment to advancing rigorous research in renewable energy and sustainable technologies, and to strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration across scientific and applied domains.
The conference is academically represented by Associate Professor Dr. Shahab Abdulla (University of Southern Queensland), who serves as a member of the Scientific Committee and supports scientific coordination and academic supervision of conference activities.
Focus and Scope
This Special Issue welcomes high-quality contributions aligned with the conference themes, including (but not limited to):

Publication and Peer Review
Papers selected from the conference program will be considered for publication through a formal peer-review process following recognized academic standards, ensuring the quality, originality, and relevance of accepted manuscripts.
This Special Issue aims to showcase impactful research and practical insights that support innovation, sustainability, and the green economy, and to provide a lasting scholarly record of the conference’s contributions to renewable energy research frontiers.
